JOB SUMMARY

The job responsibilities of a systems integrator are to link component subsystems and ensure they work together as a unit. Systems integrators design, build, synthesize and implement technological applications that are customized to meet the organization’s needs. Together with the Client professionals, and their IT department; systems integrators may also test and authenticate software to determine suitability before integration into the company’s main system. Systems integrators also draft technical instructions, plans, technical designs and other documents related to systems integration. A systems integrator is highly technical and require people with hands-on experience in dealing with clients. They evaluate and recommend integration solutions based on client preferences. They regularly work with an organization’s management, administration and legal staff to ascertain that the solutions recommended satisfy legal requirements. It is also the duty of systems integrators to provide clients with post-installation and integration support. This involves troubleshooting, updating and general maintenance of the system.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Travel: 10 percent – travel to clients’ site.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field and a minimum of two years of information technology experience inclusive of programming, systems analysis, business intelligence and data analysis.
  • One to two years’ experience using Java or Python, SQL, and Agile or Waterfall Software Development.
